esports club coach

In order to make this amazing project happen we need confident Esports enthusiasts who are able to take on flexible work with young people and deliver a pre-planned curriculum. You do not need to be a tech specialist or a top 1% competitor to change the lives of young people in Esports. All we require is a passionate and confident person who wants to make a difference in the Esports world!

Privateer Gaming are excited to announce that we are looking to create a new layer of grassroots Esports to the UK scene. We are looking for confident Esports fans who can take their love of gaming to the next generation and inspire a new wave of top Esports playing and broadcasting talent.

Using the Nintendo Switch as a suitable console for teenagers Privateer Gaming will be facilitating Esports and gaming sessions in schools and youth groups to bring Esports to everyone in the UK irrespective of their backgrounds. Initially we want to use school friendly games such as Splatoon, Super Smash Bros and Rocket League to be launchpad games in our sessions! With further expansion into Mario Kart, EA FC and other titles depending on demand in schools. We see this new project as the foundation for the Esports ecosystem we wish to create in the UK (shown in the diagram). This project will allow Esports fans to come together in safe environments to play games in person and feel part of a community. In a world where isolation among young people is on the rise we feel it is more important than ever to start bringing purely online activities into the real world and allow young people to forge real friendships.

In addition to this Privateer Gaming will be creating a space that is age appropriate for Esports fans. Current events and competitions in many game titles are not suitable for school aged children meaning they are not able to experience the thrill of a local gaming group or a LAN tournament event. We are working hard to change this!
